Commutable from:Hybrid role ideal location South or Midlands basedSalary range:Competitive + car allowance + bonus commission scheme Salary benefits: Quarterly Bonus Scheme, Good Pension Scheme, Westfield HealthcareJob Overview: Working alongside our client, a leading and established injection mould machine tool supplier, we are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join their team to drive continued business growth.Remit:This position will suit an experienced Sales / Business Development professional with a background in injection moulding manufacturingThe right Technical Sales Manager MUST HAVE an in-depth understanding of injection moulding machinery, injection moulding processes and ancillary equipmentIn the role of Technical Sales Manager you will identify and develop sales opportunities, working with new and existing customers in order to improve recognition of the company brand, grow sales and develop the company strategy in line with set goalsRole:Planning and prioritising sales activities and prospect contacts, in order to achieve agreed sales and new business targetsMaking sales calls to understand the demands and needs of customersCompletion of customer information into company databases to be completed weeklyDevelop new and innovative ways of meeting customer needsTravel to meet with potential customers face to faceProactively reach out to prospects, maintain and nurture a healthy client relationship whilst maximising sales with high level of customer satisfactionA consultative sales approach with individual sales presentationsPrepare accurate quotes for customers in a timely fashion, ensuring all quotations meet minimum profit margins as determined by the businessStaying aware at all times of industry and market developments and the potential opportunities available to targetAttendance at key regional /national events/conferences/ to support customers and build relationshipsLiaise with the customer to arrange a delivery date, realistically managing the customers expectationsResponsible for identifying customer issues identified and feedback to appropriate internal function for resolutionEnsuring the vehicle visiting customers is clean and road worthyEnsure compliance with H&S legislationEnsuring the Risk Assessment for the job is accurate and complete.Experience:Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical sales capacityExperience of building new customer relationships and creating new sales opportunitiesStrong commercial awareness, an understanding of the sector and company marketplaceIn-depth understanding of injection moulding machinery and ancillary equipmentIn depth understanding of the injection moulding processFull UK driving licenceExcellent knowledge of MS Office applications with the ability to enter and analyse data within ExcelExperience with CRM systemsAmbitious, goal oriented, dedicated and with a can do attitude towards workExcellent networking, communication and influencing skillsStrong negotiation skillsAbility to build effective team relationshipsKey Words: Sales Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Injection Moulding, Plastics, Injection Moulding Machinery, Business DevelopmentFOOTERDue to the sheer volume of applications we receive we will only contact successful applications that meet the requirements of our client job brief.
