Engineering Estimator / Technical Sales (CNC)

This would suit an individual from a CNC Machining background

We are recruiting for an Estimator to work for our client who are located on the outskirts of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire/ Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES :

* Research costs: Research the costs of materials, labour, equipment, and transportation

* Gather quotes: Get quotes from suppliers and subcontractors

* Assess risk: Evaluate the level of risk for a project

* Prepare estimates: Prepare estimates for labour and material costs for upcoming projects

* Prepare bids and tenders: Prepare bids and tenders for projects

* Evaluate projects: Evaluate potential projects and their cost-effectiveness

* search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximise client potential in designated regions

* develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements

* negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

* Minimum 2 years' experience working within an Engineering high precision manufacturing background.

* Excellent communication skills

* Must have CNC Knowledge

* Factory based role not hybrid

THE HOURS:

Working on days – Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm Friday 8am -12pm

THE PAY:

You will earn an annual salary of between £38k-48k depending on experience. Plus bonus
