We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Technical Product Manager to support a key transformation initiative focused on decentralising data usage and driving the development of data products. This role will play a pivotal part in enhancing data capabilities, fostering a product-centric mindset, and driving behavioural change across business units.
You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to build scalable data product platforms, streamline product development processes, and ensure continuous improvements are delivered. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, excellent communication skills, and a passion for data-led innovation.
The Role:
- Lead the delivery of decentralized data platforms with a strong product management mindset.
- Drive the adoption and improvement of internal data products across multiple business units.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Champion behavioral change in the use and ownership of data products within the organization.
- Define and prioritize product features and improvements, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Act as a key liaison between technical teams, data professionals, and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive platform adoption and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Work with cross functional team and senior leaders to help create the product strategy
- Define near and long term road maps, associated goals, objectives and key results
- Understand and drive performance against both commercial and non-commercial KPIs
- Partner with multiple domains within the BU to identify and deliver impactful user and business outcomes
- Build a deep understanding of how data is used to drive value
- Facilitate user research/testing as part of validating ideas and identifying user problems to solve
- Effectively influence senior stakeholders to align priorities and set expectations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or similar role in a data-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of data platforms, internal product delivery, and stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence change.
- Excellent vendor management and communication skills.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a strong drive for continuous improvement.
- Product management experience, with preference for internal facing product experience
- Product passion and obsession for product performance metrics and feedback
- An analytical approach and able to use innovative thinking
- To like working in a team and have a positive and collaborative get things done attitude
- Ability to synthesis data insights and customer research
- Proven ability to grow demand and engagement in your given product
- Running or participating in design sprints
