Technical Lead- Azure & Cloud North West Based This is an opportunity to step into a technical leadership role where you'll shape how cloud services are delivered - not just support them. You'll play a key role in improving standards, mentoring engineers, and ensuring environments are built properly from the ground up.

What You'll Be Working With

You'll be operating in a Microsoft-focused cloud environment, working across: Azure (IaaS, networking, identity, monitoring) Hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + cloud integration) Automation and infrastructure as code Modern monitoring and alerting tools This isn't a legacy-heavy environment - the focus is on doing things the right way, with clean design and long-term thinking.

What You'll Be Doing

Acting as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues Leading the design and improvement of Azure environments Driving standards, automation, and best practices across the team Mentoring engineers and supporting their technical development Identifying recurring issues and implementing long-term fixes Working closely with leadership to improve service quality and deliver

What We're Looking For

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Background in 3rd line / senior infrastructure / cloud engineering Solid understanding of:

Azure networking, identity, and compute Backup, DR, and high availability

Experience with automation (PowerShell, Terraform, Bicep, etc.) Ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure Confident communicator with both technical teams and stakeholders
