Advertised wage: £32,500-37,500 depending on experience.

Brand Organic is looking to hire an organised Technical, Compliance & Supply Chain Manager who is keen to have a direct impact by implementing their knowhow in a dynamic and fast-paced company.

The role would be split between technical and supply chain responsibilities, working alongside the Wholesale Manager and under the supervision of the Operations Director to maintain the high technical standards and relevant certifications that the company currently upholds, as well as facilitating and improving the growing flow of orders into customers.

As well as working on the above, any candidate may also be required to work on ad-hoc projects as part of the wider Brand Organic portfolio. This may include working with new brands on specific projects, providing expertise via webinars, video calls and/or workshops.

Foreign and domestic travel is possible depending on calendar of events and external market conditions.

Candidate specification:

This is an ideal position for a self-motivated candidate looking for a flexible and varied role within a growing company across two operational areas. There is scope to adapt and grow the role well beyond the 18 month fixed term, depending on results achieved.

The role is home-based, and as such requires the candidate to work independently and be confident working in this type of environment. Working hours are flexible with the role primarily results driven. Travel may be required as part of the role, particularly domestically for trade shows, audits etc, while the company organises an in-person get-together every quarter.

A detailed understanding of the FMCG supply chain landscape is essential, particularly with regards to food and drink, as is knowledge of BRCGS procedures and other technical processes.

Two years’ experience in a technical or operations role is mandatory to allow the candidate to thrive in such a busy environment and bring a wealth of knowledge that can add value.

A laptop/home computer will be provided, however access to a mobile phone is required as is a strong internet connection.

Good understanding of Unleashed, Excel/Google Sheets and G Suite would be advantageous, although full training will be given.

Finally, a flexible and ambitious mindset is required as the company grows and job roles evolve. This is an 18-month fixed term contract, with potential options to join the company in a permanent capacity should the candidate excel in their role.
