Full-Time, Permanent Overview A leading Facilities Management service provider is seeking an experienced Technical Compliance & Permit Manager to oversee compliance, safety, and permit-to-work processes across a large, high-profile commercial site in West London. This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring that all technical operations, contractor activities, and maintenance works are delivered in line with statutory regulations, health & safety legislation, and best practice compliance standards. You will work closely with operational teams, contractors, and senior stakeholders to maintain a safe, compliant, and well-governed working environment across a complex, multi-service building. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system across the site, ensuring all works are properly authorised and controlled. Oversee technical compliance across all engineering services including mechanical, electrical, and specialist systems. Ensure the site meets all statutory compliance obligations including health & safety, environmental and building regulations. Conduct regular compliance audits, inspections, and risk assessments. Review and approve RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) for contractor works. Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to site safety procedures. Work closely with the engineering and facilities management teams to embed a strong compliance culture. Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation for internal and client audits. Act as the key point of contact for health & safety and compliance matters across the site. Candidate Requirements NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
essential IOSH Managing Safely (or higher)
