We are looking for a London-based Full Stack Developer with machine learning and LLM experience to join Melanin Minds AI as a technical co-founder. This is an equity-only role at this stage, with no salary until funding is secured. You will be joining a mission-led team that has already started development of the platform and is now looking for the right technical co-founder to lead the AI side of the product. About Melanin Minds AI Melanin Minds AI is a mental health startup focused on supporting Black and minoritised communities through culturally competent, accessible support. Our platform is being built to offer a safe and anonymous space where people can express what they are going through and receive real-time, empathetic help through an AI-powered chatbot. We are using AI to break stigma, encourage open conversations, and make sure mental health support reflects cultural context and lived experience. Your Role As the technical co-founder, you will lead the development and training of our AI chatbot. You will work closely with the founding team to shape how the chatbot functions, from its tone and structure to how it learns and responds over time. You will take ownership of the machine learning models, natural language processing, and long-term technical roadmap. You will not just be writing code. You will help shape the future of a product that has the potential to make a deep and lasting social impact.
