Technical Architect - London - £120,000 p/a + Bonus + Benefits We are looking for a Technical Architect with specific experience working on both Integration and Platform Architecture, which will include having strong Azure platform knowledge, especially IaaS, PaaS, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Azure Storage. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly scaling Insurance business based in the heart of Central London, working in the office 3 days per week. Please note:- having Insurance industry experience is NOT essential. My client is especially looking for a data-driven candidate, who is excited about working within an evolving, scaling business who can demonstrate their skills at building key strategic relationships with stakeholders and ensuring that the business is always pushing forwards with the right technical strategy. Responsibilities: Define the blueprints, standards and outlining how their core systems and applications connect. Help ensure security, scalability, data integrity, and performance across the technology landscape. Define enterprise wide integration strategy. Provide technical insight while working with Change, Technology and Data teams on platform architecture & implementations. Technical Design / Governance. Translate strategy into a phased and implementable architecture roadmap. Stakeholder Management Experience Required: Architecture focused on software development, integration and technical architecture design. API implementations, Message Queues and Event Driven Architecture - (ideally Azure Service Bus and Kafka). RESTful API design and API Gateway management. DevOps principles. CI/CD tools. Azure platform - (including IaaS, PaaS, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Azure Storage).
