A well-established professional services firm based in Warwick is seeking a skilled Technical Accountant to provide technical support to its internal Accounts Team. The role involves managing year-end accounts and ensuring full compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Technical Accountant Job Overview

Prepare and submit year-end accounts for Limited Companies. Manage financial records and accounts for complex structures including consolidated entities. This is not needed at all times. Provide timely technical advice to the Accounts Team. Maintain accurate, compliant financial records and internal controls. Support external audit processes. Ensure deadlines are met and avoid financial penalties. Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Accounting

Technical Accountant Job Requirements

5+ years experience in practice and ideally but necessary qualified (ACCA or ACA) Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and technical accounting. Proficient in SAGE, IRIS, XERO, Accountancy Manager, and Microsoft Office. High attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Discreet handling of confidential information. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
