Technical Account Manager

This role is designed as a ‘Hybrid’ position, expecting an average of 2 days per week working from an HPE office.

Job Description:

Management Level Definition:

This role impacts technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services and involves applying advanced knowledge to solve complex issues. It includes providing expertise, mentorship, and possibly team leadership, with significant independent judgment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Partner Business Development:
    • Collaborate with the Partner Account Manager (PAM) to develop and execute the partner’s business plan, including strategy setting, skills gap analysis, and training plans.
    • Identify opportunities for differentiation and participate in quarterly reviews.
  2. Technical Capabilities Support:
    • Update partners on product and solution developments.
    • Ensure partners have necessary technical skills and certifications.
    • Assist in designing and quoting HPE Aruba networking solutions.
    • Support partner lab capabilities and technical support skills.
  3. Customer Engagement Support:
    • Act as a strategic voice for HPE during customer interactions.
    • Coordinate with HPE sales and technical teams for customer projects.
    • Support partner engagement in customer events and Airheads membership growth.
  4. Bid and Tender Support:
    • Assist partners with tender questions and coordinate with HPE teams for responses.
  5. TAC Engagement Support:
    • Ensure partners understand and effectively utilize the TAC process.
    • Assist with escalations and communicate customer issues to HPE teams.
  6. Partner Team Management:
    • Integrate funded partner team members into HPE Aruba networking team.
    • Monitor skills, provide training, and oversee resource utilization.
