KPMG in the UK is part of a global network offering Audit, Legal, Tax and Advisory services. The Risk Consulting group helps clients increase profits while reducing reputational, operational, financial and other risks. Technology Risk Consulting (TRC) is a fast growing department within Risk Consulting, delivering General IT and ERP controls, GRC operating models and solutions, IT Security and Risk Management, control automation, and SOX 404. This role involves client-facing work and relationship building across a range of corporate clients.
Role and responsibilities
Actively identifying and progressing business development opportunities related to Oracle, as well as managing sales activities such as responding to RFPs, bid management, proposal writing and client presentations.
Leading multiple Oracle assurance and/or advisory engagements.
Responsible for the overall output from client engagements.
Overseeing scoping, financial management, delivery risk, production and review of deliverables.
Building and managing client relationships at CIO / CFO / Project Sponsor level across a range of organisations.
Developing internal networks and maintaining relationships with colleagues across KPMG, promoting the ERP & Business Systems capability specifically for Oracle and informing other KPMG services and capability groups of the value it could add to engagements.
Expanding Oracle services in specific IMG segments (e.g. B2C and B2B) while working across sectors.
Coaching and developing team members as Oracle specialists and training the wider Technology Risk Consulting team in areas such as ERP analytics and audit delivery.
Leading product development and innovation in Oracle, GRC, data and analytics to keep KPMG’s Oracle offering market leading globally.
Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and progress Oracle-related business development opportunities, including responding to RFPs, tenders, bid management, proposals and client presentations.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience in Oracle business analysis and understanding of core financial processes (procure to pay, record to report, order to cash, etc. within an Oracle environment).
Experience of core ERP and/or business systems, including SAP, Oracle and others.
Functional experience of Oracle GRC, Financials.
Functional experience of Oracle Release 12 (Oracle Fusion experience is advantageous).
Experience using Oracle data analysis tools.
A good understanding of technology platforms supporting the industry.
Ability to present on specific industry subjects to large groups.
An understanding of system risks and controls, and the ability to express opinions clearly to all levels.
Ability to develop excellent client and internal relationships.
Ability to deliver work within tight timescales, to budget and to a high quality.
Soft skills
Proven experience in identifying and developing sales opportunities.
Strong people management skills.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills at all levels.
Ability to present on specific subjects to internal and external stakeholders.
