Teaching Assistant – Scunthorpe

Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential? We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and supportive team in Scunthorpe.

About the role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students in the classroom, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will assist with lesson preparation, provide one-to-one or small group support, and help students develop both academically and socially.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils across a range of abilities and needs
  • Helping to deliver engaging lessons and activities
  • Assisting with classroom management and organisation
  • Encouraging student participation and building their confidence
  • Providing feedback to teachers on student progress

About you:

  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient, flexible and approachable
  • Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
  • Relevant qualifications (such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential
