Training will be provided by the school with regards to phonics, SEN knowledge and topic based learning.
The specialist school in question supports 90 + SEN learners and is a mixed gender school. The setting proudly supports learners that require support with social communication, emotional regulation and sensory processing, typically associated with Autism. The school is recognised for being a warm and welcoming environment and recent Ofsted praised the school and team for its strong team atmosphere and family ethos. This role will include Whole class support, group support and 1:1 support so all applicants must be dedicated, inspiring and able to think on there feet. Responsibilities: ● Supporting SEN KS1- KS2 learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis ● Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
