SEN Learning Support Assistant - Oldham\n\nTradewind Recruitment is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or a graduate with a strong interest in pursuing a career in teaching. This full-time role is based in a welcoming 2-form entry primary school in Oldham and is available for an immediate start.\n\nThe school is Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" and is well known for its inclusive ethos and supportive staff culture. The team works collaboratively to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive both academically and socially.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will:\n\nSupport pupils with a range of special educational needs\n\nWork closely with the class teacher to adapt lessons and learning activities\n\nProvide tailored 1:1 and small-group support\n\nHelp create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment\n\nThis role is ideal for graduates looking to gain hands-on classroom experience before moving into teacher training, as well as experienced SEN TAs who are passionate about making a difference.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nExperience working with children with SEN (or a strong desire to do so)\n\nA genuine interest in a career in education\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\n\nA proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach\n\nAbility to engage and support children with diverse learning needs\n\nJob Requirements\n\nExperience supporting SEN pupils, ideally in a mainstream school\n\nEnhanced DBS Disclosure (and Overseas Police Checks if applicable)\n\nTwo professional references\n\nA CV covering the last 10 years of employment, with any gaps explained\n\nLegal right to work in the UK\n\nHow to Apply\n\nTo apply, please send your CV to \n or call Chris on (phone number removed) for more information.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a school that values its staff and is committed to providing outstanding education for all pupils.
