Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to provide both academic and pastoral support to pupils. You'll play an essential role in helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging space where all students can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons and classroom activities.
Support individual students and small groups, particularly those with additional needs or English as an additional language (EAL).
Help prepare and organise classroom materials and learning resources.
Monitor student progress and behaviour, offering feedback to teaching staff as appropriate.
Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a respectful and focused learning environment.
Supervise students during lunch breaks, playtime and school outings.
Encourage student's personal and social development, fostering confidence and independence.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
