Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) Location: Blackley | Primary School

We are a welcoming primary school in Blackley seeking a dedicated and caring Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) to join our team.

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND

Supporting learning, engagement, and emotional regulation

Implementing strategies and interventions in line with EHCPs

Assisting with personal care where required

Promoting independence, confidence, and inclusion

Working collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children with SEND (desirable)

Is patient, nurturing, and adaptable

Has strong communication and teamwork skills

Is committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS
