Hays Education is working with a welcoming high school in Accrington to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support a small class of students who are still working at a primary level. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on pupils' learning and development.
Your new role
You will:
Support a small group of students who are being taught by a primary-trained teacher.
Provide tailored assistance to help pupils access the curriculum and achieve their potential.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assist with classroom activities, behaviour management, and individual learning plans.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working with children, ideally in a school setting.
A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
Ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher and wider school team.
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
