Job Title:  Teaching Assistant\n\nLocation:  Park School, Chipping Norton, OX7 5QH\nSalary:      £22,160.62 per annum (not pro rata)\nHours:      37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 4:30pm\nContract:  Permanent, Term-Time Only\nStart:         April 2026\n\nUK applicants only. So, whether it’s already in place or just around the corner, now’s the perfect time to join #teamOFG!\n\nAbout the Role\n\nAs a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and curiosity. Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you’ll help create engaging learning experiences tailored to individual needs, particularly for pupils with SEMH needs and/or Autism.\n\nEvery day will be different — rewarding, challenging, and full of opportunity to support meaningful progress.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nProvide 1:1 or small-group support for pupils with SEMH needs and/or Autism\n\nAssist teachers in planning and delivering activities that spark curiosity and progress\n\nLead small group sessions and support one-to-one interventions\n\nOffer emotional, social, and practical support to pupils as they navigate school life\n\nContribute to creating a safe, welcoming, and positive learning environment\n\nSupport outdoor learning, enrichment activities, and personal development initiatives\n\nWho We're Looking For\n\nWe’re seeking someone who is:\n\nAdaptable and proactive, able to support pupils in a variety of settings\n\nCaring and patient, with a genuine interest in helping young people thrive\n\nTeam-focused, working collaboratively alongside skilled staff in a supportive environment\n\nWilling to learn, with an open and positive approach to training and professional development\n\nQualified with GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)\n\nWhether you’re supporting classroom learning, leading outdoor activities, or helping pupils build independence and self-belief, your work will help shape lives.\n\nAbout us\n\nPark School is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 7 to 18, catering for pupils with a wide range of social, emotional and mental health needs.
