Teaching Assistant role Full Time - September 2025 start General Classroom Support Contract: September 2025 - July 2026 (Term Time Only) Located in Kingston upon thames, London Option to Extend or Progress into the School's Teacher Training Scheme
As a General Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher, supporting day-to-day classroom activities. You'll also gain valuable experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping to ensure all pupils-regardless of ability-receive the support they need to thrive.
This is a rewarding and dynamic role, and you'll be fully supported by an experienced and welcoming staff team. Completion of the academic year will provide you with a solid foundation to apply for the school's in-house teacher training programme in 2026.
This role is ideal for a 2025 or recent graduate from any discipline. Prior experience working with children-whether paid or voluntary, in or out of school-is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude are essential. The school is conveniently located in Kingston, just a short walk from excellent public transport connections across London.
