Hazel Tree Education are supporting a mainstream school in the Birchwood area of Warrington in their search for a Teaching Assistant.
The School's Ethos is "We believe every child holds unlimited potential and can thrive when provided with meaningful opportunities, nurturing experiences, and thoughtful guidance."
They require a TA who can support a learner with ASD- the child requires encouragement and occasionally will display challenging behaviours.
This is a full time role, Mon- Fri 8:30-3:30- and has the potential to go perm for the right person.
What we’re looking for:
* A recognised qualification in Teaching and Learning or Childcare or experience working with children in a formal setting e.g. school, residential, sports coaching.
* An interest in supporting children with additional needs.
* A resilient, pro-active nature with a positive, can-do attitude.
Successful candidates must have:
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to obtain one
* Two references within the last 2 years including most recent/current employer.
* Right to Work in the UK
* A good standard of literacy and numeracy with excellent written and verbal communication.
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained.
* Must be willing to attend a face to face or Teams registration interview.
