KS1 Teaching Assistant - Minimum 1 month cover - Start Date: As soon as possible.

A fabulous opportunity has arisen to work as a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis supporting a variety of our lovely Stafford/Cannock schools. You will be required to be available 5 days a week to cover a short-term/long-term contract, the length of the contract you will be covering is unknown as of yet.

This role provides a great opportunity to work as a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, supporting a variety of Year 1 and Year 2 classes. You will be working alongside an established Teacher within a KS1 class. The candidate will be required to adapt to different class needs throughout different schools. You should also be confident working alongside pupils with SEN needs; providing effective, inclusive support tailored to young learners within our schools.

The Role Includes:* Working for a reputable education agency - Academics Ltd.* Working collaboratively with teaching staff and parents.* Long-term cover for a minimum of 1 month, with the potential to be extended.* Supporting the class teacher with phonics, early reading, numeracy and small group activities within the class.* Providing individual and small group support where required.

We are looking for someone who:

• Must have experience supporting a primary class.
• Obtains a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate (minimum).
• Is patient, caring, reliable and committed to providing the best support to pupils within your class.
• The ability to support SEN pupils within the classroom; this may be through 1:1 or small group work.
• Comfortable commuting to South Staffordshire regions; this including Cannock/Stafford and surrounding areas.
• Enhanced DBS.
• Available to start ASAP.
• Fully registered to work with Academics.

Pay: £90 - £100 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate. xbpsjku
