Swim Teacher / Instructor - South West & North West, London

Job Type:  Self employed, 2025/2026 school year, 38 weeks (term time only)

Swim Studio London is a private swim school currently located in south west and north west London. We own and operate our own swimming pools in Fulham, Balham, Sheen and St John's Wood providing private and small group (maximum 4:1) lessons for children from 3 months to 10 year olds. All our lessons are delivered from in the water, which we maintain at 31 degrees.

We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and reliable swimming teachers to join our friendly and professional team. You will need to be able to work alone and as part of a team.

Sheen Swim School (2 Deanhill Road, SW14 7DF)

Located between Richmond and Putney on the Upper Richmond Road

Saturday 0830 - 1400

Sunday 1400 - 1800

St John's Wood Swim School (83 Allitsen Road, NW8 7AS)

Wednesday 1430 - 1900

Friday 1430 - 1830

Sunday 0830 - 1330

Sunday 1330 - 1730

Fulham Swim School (7 Dawes Road, SW6 7DT)

Tuesday 0900 - 1400

Wednesday 1430 - 1830

Thursday 0900 - 1400

Balham Swim School (205 Balham High Road, SW17 7BW)

Saturday 0830 - 1330

Sunday 1330 - 1730

Term dates:

Autumn term (14 weeks)

Monday 1st September - Sunday 14th December

Half term closure: 27th October - 2nd November

Spring term (11 weeks)

Monday 5th January - Sunday 29th March

Half term closure: 16th February - 22nd February

Summer term (13 weeks)

Monday 13th April - Sunday 19th July

Half term closure: 25th May - 31st May

Bank holiday closure: Monday 4th May

Candidates must have:

ASA/STA level 2 and above (or international equivalent recognised by the ASA)

Baby and pre school qualification (or experience)

DSB check

Valid swim teacher safety award or NPLQ

Instructor liability insurance

2 years teaching experience (preferred)
