Sustainability Manager – Manufacturing | Midlands | Up to £55K + Benefits

Are you passionate about driving sustainability in a commercial, global manufacturing environment? We're working with a leading business at the forefront of sustainable innovation in its sector. As they continue to expand their environmental initiatives and journey to net zero, they're looking for a dynamic Sustainability Manager to lead the charge.

The Role:

This is a pivotal role responsible for shaping and delivering a global sustainability strategy, supporting the business on its journey to net zero. You’ll collaborate across departments, suppliers, and customers to ensure the sustainability roadmap is practical, impactful, and aligned to business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive momentum in sustainability initiatives across internal teams and external stakeholders. Maintain and evolve the organisation's Roadmap to Net Zero, aligning with new technologies, regulations, and business needs. Ensure environmental compliance and accurate data reporting (ISO 14001, SECR, ESOS). Lead stakeholder engagement. Manage the delivery of the annual Sustainability Report with transparency and accountability. Support procurement and supply chain teams in delivering sustainable sourcing practices. Engage with external partners to unblock challenges and enhance programme delivery. Benchmark sustainability performance and ensure best practice is shared across the wider group.

About You:

Experience in sustainability, ideally within manufacturing or industrial sectors. Strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills. A clear, analytical thinker who can translate data and complex concepts into action. Stong presentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Degree-qualified in sustainability, science, or engineering. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (including occasional international trips)
