We’re launching a brand-new service, and we’re looking for outstanding *support workers* to join us from the very start. This specialist provision will support *individuals with a primary diagnosis of Learning Disabilities and/or Autism*, who may also have *Mental Health needs as a secondary diagnosis*. Many of the individuals we’ll support have *contracted care arrangements* and *present with behaviours that may be considered challenging*. The service is designed with *on-site management and clinical input*, ensuring our team is fully supported working with a PBS model of care. *First admissions started in July 2025*, and we’re working towards *full occupancy by November 2025*. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join at the beginning and shape the culture and standards of an exceptional new service. The CQC has previously described us as ‘exceptionally caring’, and we’re proud of that. We like to challenge the sector to continue to improve, and strive to achieve the highest quality in all our services. *The benefits of working at Cavalry:* * *£13.75 per hour* is the Cavalry Minimum Wage (we are looking for contracted staff who can take a regular 24 - 36 hours) * A *comprehensive induction* and *ongoing specialist training* in Positive Behaviour Support, autism, and other specific needs of those we support. * *On-site management* and support from a wider clinical governance structure * Career development opportunities across our growing network of care services * A genuinely *friendly and values-led team* that listens and supports *We're looking for exceptional people who have:* * *At least six months’ experience* supporting people with LD and/or autism * Experience supporting individuals with *behaviours that challenge* * A *calm, compassionate and proactive nature* * Excellent communication skills – because great care starts with great relationships * A *full UK driving licence* is preferred *You should be able to commit to at least 24 hours per week*, as consistency is essential for the individuals we support. Shift patterns will vary depending on the needs of each individual.
