Full time positions (maximum 37 hours per week). Shift pattern will include weekends and sleep‑in shifts.

Salary

£13.59 per hour. Sleep‑in shifts at £60 per night. Travel expenses paid 45p per mile.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you’ll actively support individuals in making their own choices and setting goals—whether everyday decisions like what to wear, eat or do, or bigger decisions such as where to live, manage finances or go on holiday.

As a trusted Support Worker, you’ll empower people to follow through on these choices, including taking part in structured activities that build confidence and develop new skills. You’ll also provide practical support to help them meet responsibilities such as paying bills, maintaining homes, being good neighbours and staying connected with friends and family.

Your goal is to make everyday remarkable by enhancing well‑being and focusing on small, meaningful moments that bring joy and purpose. By offering person‑centred support daily, this role is fun and rewarding for the right person.

Qualifications

  • Patience and empathy
  • Ability to support a person with their intimate personal care with respect and dignity
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to speak on behalf of others as well as to a range of professional people
  • Good written skills and the ability to record events with empathy and meaning
  • Full driving licence – essential for transporting individuals to appointments and activities
  • Access to your own car and willingness to use it for transporting people, with business insurance covered at £45p per mile
