Are you an experienced support worker or looking to begin a career in supporting young people in a brand-new service commissioned by Wiltshire Council? We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Support Worker to join our Accommodation Based Services team providing housing and support to Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children, and Care Experienced young people in Wiltshire .
We are looking for Night Support Workers to join a new service in full-time, part-time and bank positions . Applications from everyone are welcome, including those with lived experience, care experience or refugees with Leave to Remain .
You will assist the Management Team with the oversight of homes, leading on support and safety . You will be a role model to the young people , continually pushing for the highest standards. Your support will be trauma-informed . You will understand people’s backgrounds and champion diversity and inclusion . You could be helping someone move and settle into their new home, safety planning to reduce harm, helping someone secure their desired job or secure the place on the training course they have aspired to, support with independent living skills, and obtain refugee status.

Our robust Safeguarding Policy guides our recruitment process. Annual Leave entitlement will be pro-rata for Part-time staff. Working on public holidays due to a rota pattern will be compensated with time off in lieu. An extra day of leave accrues for each completed financial year (capped at 5). Purchasing additional holidays is capped at 5 per year. ^^You'll need a well-maintained vehicle with valid tax, MOT and Insurance covering business use.
