Whoare welookingfor:
- Kind and compassionateindividuals, who showagenuine interest and commitment to caring for people withlearning/physical disabilities/mental health issues.
- Dynamicand passionateindividualswilling to helpthe people we supporttolead fulfilled livesto a high standard of carewithin one of our vibrantschemes.
- Experienceas asupport worker, carer, or healthcare assistantpreferredbut not essentialasfulltrainingandguidanceis supplied.
- Strong communicationand interpersonal skills, withthe ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Full driving licence desirable but not essential.
Whatwill yoube doing:
- Youllbe workingas part ofa warm friendly team,based within one of ourschemesassistingthe people we supportin a homely environment.
- Supplying24/7 care on a rolling rota - covering early, late, wake nightsand weekend shifts.
- Playinga pivotal role in an individuals care team, supporting them to maximise independence, and giving them the opportunity to live their life to the fullest.
- Helpingindividualsparticipatein social and recreational community-based activities.
- Supportingindividuals intheir daily activities,accompanyingthem to appointments and outings.
- Ensuringall records are up-to-date andaccurate.?Monitoringand reportingchanges in behaviour or health status.
- Helping tomaintaina safe and clean environment for individuals.
