Pay:£16.00-£18.00 per hourJob Description:Learning Disabilities Support Worker Opportunity Make a Real Difference Every DayClover Care Group Ltd is seeking compassionate, patient, and reliable Support Workers how have learning disabilities experience, to join a dedicated care team supporting a young adult with additional needs in his beautiful family home which is large and modern.This is a highly rewarding opportunity to deliver meaningful, person-centred careempowering independence while ensuring safety, dignity, and wellbeing at all times.The RoleAs a Support Worker, you will provide tailored 1:1 or 2:1 support both within the home and in the community. Youll play a vital role in creating a calm, structured, and supportive environment.Due to the nature of the role, which includes providing personal and intimate care, this position is open to female applicants only. This is in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1, relating to genuine occupational requirements.Key Responsibilities:Deliver personalised care and support in line with individual needsAssist with daily routines, including personal care and hygieneEncourage engagement in positive, structured activitiesSupport with meal times and safe eating practicesMonitor wellbeing and respond appropriately to signs of anxiety or distressFollow care plans and contribute to a consistent, reassuring environmentAbout the IndividualYou will be supporting a young adult who:Has a learning disability and autismMay experience anxiety and benefits from reassurance and consistencyThrives with structure, routine, and patient supportRequires close supervision to maintain safety, particularly around eatingFull training and ongoing guidance will be provided to ensure you feel confident and supported in your role.What Were Looking ForWe welcome individuals who are:Kind, calm, and patient in their approachPassionate about providing high-quality careStrong communicators with a team-focused mindsetAble to follow guidance and work consistently within care plansExperience in care and education essential, and further training is provided.
