Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Hertfordshire based client to recruit for a Supply Chain Coordinator.

Key Job Duties:

Processing International purchase orders, deliveries, shipments, and invoices for global customers. Liaising with customers and suppliers globally and raising orders with factories in the Far East and Europe. Liaising with shipping agents to get competitive prices for freight and arranging paperwork for customs clearance. Analysing stock holding and customer sales. Keeping supply procedures up to date. Cover for other members of the Supply Chain team, reporting to the Head of Supply & Operations. Other administrative tasks as necessary according to the needs of the business

Skills/experience required:

Previous experience in a supply chain role is needed, including the understanding of different shipment incoterms Understanding of the order, delivery, and invoice processes for a supplier Advanced Excel skills Excellent multi-tasking skills Analytical ability Organised and able to maintain accurate records Excellent attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Productive and proactive
