Supervising Social Worker
to join their fostering team, with an office base in
Whitstable / West Malling
and a caseload covering
Kent . This role offers
flexible hybrid working , combining office, home-based work, and visits to foster carers. 1315 fostering families , providing supervision, support, and professional guidance. Build strong relationships with foster carers, helping them develop their skills and confidence. Provide
wraparound support , including participation in an
out-of-hours on-call rota . Undertake professional assessments and contribute to care planning for children and young people. Ensure foster carers meet regulatory and safeguarding requirements. Promote positive outcomes for children and young people placed in foster care. Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the fostering service. Essential Requirements To be successful in this role you will: Hold a
relevant Social Work qualification . Be
registered with Social Work England (SWE) . Have experience in
fostering social work and/or childrens social care , such as within a
Looked After Children team . Demonstrate experience of
assessing and identifying the needs of children and young people . Possess strong knowledge of
fostering regulations, childcare law, and safeguarding . Be able to undertake
objective professional assessments . Have the ability to work
reflectively and creatively
with foster carers and young people. Hold a
full UK driving licence
