Our client is currently seeking an experienced Subsidence Engineer for the South London / Southern Counties area. You will mainly deal with properties affected by subsidence.The RoleHandle a portfolio of subsidence claims involving landslips, sinkholes/voids and alternative intervention methods, on a project managed basisAttend site to carry out technical assessments and the investigation of claimsDetermine causation / defect diagnosis and policy liabilityDecline claims where appropriateDetermine nature and extent of damagePrepare / submit full ABI reports, outlining findings and recommendationsOversee complex repair schemes, sub-structure and super-structureLiaise with contractors and all relevant external suppliersWork closely with and support the Contractor NetworkReview claims and deal with variationsSkills / QualificationsPrior subsidence / Loss Adjusting experienceIdeally you will be MRICS, MCIOB, C.BuildE qualified although this is not essentialStrong communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent customer service, organizational & communication skillsInterested applicants should apply online or forward their CVs to Dave Clements at Exchange Street Claims (phone number removed), (url removed), Job Ref: DC1018.
