- Negotiate and manage NEC3/NEC4 subcontract agreements, including heavily modified versions.
- Ensure full commercial governance and alignment with internal risk management protocols.
- Build, manage, and optimise the project supply chain, ensuring performance and value delivery.
- Collaborate closely with delivery teams, estimators, commercial leads, and suppliers.
- Drive sustainable procurement outcomes including ESG, social value, and SME engagement.
- Support work-winning activity and preconstruction planning with strategic supply chain input.
- Interface with client procurement and commercial teams, ensuring alignment with framework expectations.
Must-Have Experience
- Proven background in subcontract procurement within infrastructure, utilities, or construction.
- Strong NEC3 and NEC4 contract knowledge, including negotiation of amended clauses.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior procurement/supply chain leadership role.
- Track record of commercial delivery and risk mitigation through subcontract management.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across commercial and delivery functions.
