Deanston Cooper's client is a highly successful civil engineering contractor based in Glasgow who work predominantly in rail sector. Due to continued expansion, they currently have a requirement for an additional Sub Agent to work on rail related civils projects across the Central Belt which can include bridges, concrete structures, and platform works. 

As Sub Agent your duties will include:

• Managing and optimising the construction programme
• Managing and minimising construction costs
• Fostering and maintaining good working relationships with the client and client representatives
• Leading Safety Management on site for all activities, suppliers and subcontractors
• Providing timely and accurate reports, forecasts and budgets for internal purposes
• Leading, motivating and monitoring the site team and developing the strategy as required
• Managing the supply chain

• A minimum qualification of HND Civil xkybehq Engineering
• Site Engineer or Section Engineer experience gained working for another civil engineering contractor
• At least 5 years experience of working on a variety of civil engineering or rail projects
• Knowledge of safety legislation
• Positive and proactive approach to problem solving
• Good commercial skills
