We are recruiting for an experienced Store Manager for a small retail shop in Canterbury. Responsibilities:

Running day-to-day operations, including opening/closing procedures and maintaining a clean, safe store. Maintain outstanding visual merchandising standards and a welcoming store atmosphere. Recruiting, training, mentoring, and motivating staff to achieve sales goals and deliver high customer service. Managing stock levels, conducting inventory counts, handling deliveries, and ensuring proper stock rotation. Implementing promotional materials, managing in-store displays, and driving sales growth. Managing the budget, handling cash, monitoring expenses, and delivering financial reports. Conduct annual personnel performance appraisals, providing clear and actionable feedback and delivering constructive criticism to help staff improve. Skills:

Experience working in a retail environment, in a managerial position. Working knowledge of business development best practices. Entrepreneurial mindset. In-depth knowledge of financial planning and office management.
