With three stores across London and one in Kent, we are known for providing high quality products and outstanding customer service.We are now seeking an ambitious and proactive Store Manager to lead our successful Camberwell branch.About the RoleAs Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shop, leading a team of sales consultants and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will maintain high retail standards, motivate your team, and drive store performance through effective management and leadership.Applicants must be comfortable with daily physical activity, including lifting and carrying stock, as well as working on a busy shop floor for extended periods.Our managers work Monday to Friday but must have weekend availability to cover Assistant Manager holidays and absence.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, motivate and develop the store teamEnsure excellent customer service at all timesManage daily store operations and merchandisingDrive sales and meet performance KPI'sRecruit, interview, and onboard new employees, ensuring they are well-trained in retail procedures, POS systems, and customer engagement techniques.Handle staff performance, coaching and disciplinary procedures where necessaryMaintain store presentation standards and stock managementUphold company policies and promote a positive team cultureAbout YouMinimum 2 years experience in independent retail store managementConfident managing a store independently (not just a department within a larger retailer)A hands-on leader with a positive, charismatic approachStrong organisational and problem-solving skillsAbility to motivate and inspire your teamKnowledge of art materials is helpful, but not essential full training will be providedWhy Join Us?Work for a respected, long-established art retailerOur working hours are considered to have a good work-life balanceSupportive team environmentKPI based bonus scheme25% staff discount across all storesBenefits:Casual dressEmployee discountExperience:shop management : 2 years (required)JBRP1_UKTJ
