Join Blakemore Trade Partners as a Store Manager for our Spar store in Tenbury Wells. This role offers a base salary of £32,000 plus a bonus potential of up to £7,800. Role Overview The Store Manager will report to the Retail Operations Manager and drive growth for one of our 245 SPAR convenience stores, employing more than 5,000 people with a turnover of £1.3 billion. Hours: 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Flexible shift pattern between 7 am and 11 pm. Key Responsibilities

Lead, recruit, train and develop a high‑performing team committed to exceptional customer service. Create a positive, collaborative work environment and celebrate colleague successes. Ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations, including inventory management, merchandising, visual standards and stock control. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, and implement strategies to enhance satisfaction and loyalty. Set and achieve sales targets, driving initiatives to increase revenue and profitability. Analyse sales reports to identify improvement opportunities. Participate in local community events and initiatives, strengthening the store’s ties with the community. Manage budgets, expenses and financial reporting to keep the store operating within established parameters.

Skills and Experience Required

Proven retail management experience with a track record of meeting sales targets. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate a diverse team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and the local community. Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management and merchandising. Analytical mindset to interpret data and drive business performance. A passion for community engagement and a commitment to making a positive impact in Tenbury Wells.
