Key Responsibilities for Remote Technical Services Engineer
Perform implementation, upgrade, and migration project work for storage solutions.
Deliver high-quality 2nd to 3rd line support for storage devices.
Collaborate with the wider team to ensure reliable and efficient service delivery.
Proactively manage personal workload to meet deadlines and project requirements.
Essential Skills for Remote Technical Services Engineer
5-10 years' experience implementing, migrating, and supporting storage devices.
Strong knowledge of file and block storage technologies.
Experience with Dell EMC storage devices and Unisphere.
Familiarity with Brocade SAN Switches and SanNav.
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Awareness of ITIL Service Management, including incident and change management.
Desirable Skills for Remote Technical Services Engineer
Experience with Veritas NetBackup.
Knowledge of NetApp and HP storage devices.
Understanding of HBA configuration, Multipathing, and server OS (Windows, Linux, AIX, Solaris).
