Company Overview: CMC are seeking an experienced SPEN Site Manager to join an ongoing Substation Project based in the Central Belt of Scotland. This is an immediate requirement. . Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and in compliance with SPEN and project specifications. You will oversee subcontractors, coordinate with project teams, and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and quality. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day site operations on a live SPEN substation project Ensure compliance with SPEN standards, HSE regulations, and project documentation Supervise site staff, contractors, and subcontractors Coordinate project schedules and monitor progress against targets Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings Manage documentation, permits, and reporting requirements Liaise with client representatives, engineers, and stakeholders Requirements: Proven experience managing SPEN or DNO substation projects Strong understanding of electrical substation construction and safety procedures SMSTS or equivalent site management qualification First Aid at Work and relevant HSE certifications Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work independently and deliver under tight deadlines Contract Details: Duration: 3 months Hours: 45 hours per week IR35: Outside
