Onyx Support is looking for enthusiastic and committed Study Skills Tutors to work within universities and further education colleges in partnership with us.Your role will involve supporting students based on individual assessments, ensuring high-quality, positive service that removes barriers to participation in higher and further education. You will encourage students to take responsibility for their learning and develop their skills, providing expertise in study strategies to help students enhance their learning.RequirementsMandatory RequirementsApplicants must hold a Degree and Teaching Qualification OR Professional Body membership from the following:PATOSS: Full or associate membershipBritish Dyslexia Association (BDA): Full professional membershipThe Association of Dyslexia Specialists in Higher Education (ADSHE): Professional membershipDyslexia Guild: Associate Member (ADG), Associate Member (ADG FE/HE), Member (MDG), Fellow (FDG)Additionally, you must hold ASC Training to support students with ASC.
