Special Educational Needs- Teaching Assistant

Location: Aylesbury Salary: £100-£120 per day Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm Contract: Term Time Only Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school environment, working with students aged 11-19 years who have a range of complex needs.

This is a rewarding role where you will support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping them access education and develop essential life skills.

About the Role

You will be working with students who may have:

PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) LD (Learning Disabilities) Non-verbal communication needsSome students will require personal care and manual handling, so confidence and willingness in these areas are essential.

Requirements

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one. Can recieve a refund after 20days of working Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential) Willingness to support with personal care and manual handling
