Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Pay: £103.95 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide day-to-day supply cover in schools across Rochdale.
This role involves working one-to-one with pupils with Special Educational Needs, supporting their learning, engagement, and emotional well-being throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to pupils with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties)
Support pupils with classroom tasks and activities
Promote positive behaviour and inclusion
Work closely with teachers and SEN staff
Adapt support to meet individual pupil needs
Requirements:
Experience working with children with SEN (school-based experience preferred)
A patient, caring, and resilient approach
Ability to adapt to different school settings
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
