This impressive hotel features stunning original architecture, a grand Great Hall, and overlooks acres of beautiful parkland. The kitchen operates at a high volume, serving 500+ covers per day, delivering consistently excellent dining experiences in a fast-paced environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated chef who thrives in a busy kitchen and is looking to develop within a supportive and dynamic team. The Role As Sous Chef, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring all sections are well-organised and fully prepared for service.
Working closely with the Head Chef, you will support the development of junior chefs, maintain exceptional food standards, and help drive a positive, team-focused culture within the kitchen. This is a hands-on leadership role in a high-volume environment, ideal for someone who enjoys both mentoring others and delivering quality food at pace. Whats on Offer

Oversee daily kitchen operations across all sections Ensure smooth and efficient service for 500+ covers per day Train, supervise and support junior chefs Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation Monitor stock levels, manage orders, and control food costs Support the Head Chef in maintaining excellent guest satisfaction Promote a positive and collaborative team environment What Were Looking For
