permanent contract Step into a role where you can truly take ownership and shine What You'll Be Doing - Sous Chef Responsibilities As Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in driving the kitchen forward. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the Head Chef with daily operations and stepping up in their absence Leading and motivating junior chefs to deliver high-quality service Helping with menu development, specials, and fresh ideas Ensuring every dish leaves the pass with consistency, quality, and great presentation Maintaining excellent kitchen hygiene, food safety, and allergen standards Overseeing stock control, ordering, and minimising waste Contributing to a positive, energetic and collaborative kitchen culture If you love pubs that take pride in proper food done well - this is the perfect setting. Hours & Working Pattern 36 hours per week Core shifts:
Monday: 09:00 - 21:00 Wednesday: 09:00 - 21:00 Thursday: 09:00 - 21:00

one weekend shift per month , with potential for more if desired Stable, consistent rota in a supportive kitchen environment Salary £26,200 - £28,000 per year
