Aultbea Hotel is based on the iconic north coast 500 route set in an idyllic location on the shore of Loch Ewe. Having been closed for several years and now under new management this beautiful 170 year old building is undergoing a full renovation. It has 8 letting bedrooms, a 40 cover bar and this year we aim to launch our 16- 20 cover fine dining restaurant.
Our aim is to become a destination location for some of the best food on the west coast.
What Were Looking For
Passionate, confident and creative sous chef or chef de partie looking for the next step up.
Looking to set an example in the area for fine food
Desire to create a destination restaurant and aim for rosettes and Michelin recognition
Be a key part of a new team
Ability to adapt use of ingredients across different dining areas
Confident person who can develop their own ideas
Passion for modern Scottish cooking and local sourcing
Someone who takes pride in their work, ensuring consistency, quality and attention to detail.
Rosette or fine dining experience
Role will include maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and organisation.
