Sous Chef - Full Time Restaurant Mse is a fine-dining restaurant with rooms in rural North Yorkshire, looking for an exceptionaland accomplished Sous Chef to join our team, to make Myse as special as it can truly become. Awarded 1* Michelin star restaurant just a few months after opening, ranked No16 in the 2026 SquareMeal Top 100,in the National Restaurant Awards UK Top 100 Restaurants, with Joshua and Victoria named Restaurateurs of the Year 2024 as well as making the Top 500 Restaurants in the World by La Liste 1000 and being selected to represent England as New Destination Champions 2025. Responsibilities & Requirements Enjoy working with a small but ambitious team, in a family environment Be a team player and work across the role and demands of the restaurant Have experience working in Michelin star restaurants Enjoy being in an open kitchen, including table and guest service Work with incredible produce Enjoy being in the North Yorkshire countryside, foraging for local ingredients for our menu and preservation programme Could suit an ambitious and driven Junior Sous or Senior CDP looking to progress in their career Involvement in day to day management of the kitchen section of the business, including handling orders, stock, cooking and cleanliness of all areas Participating in ordering, receiving and checking of deliveries Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, order and control of the kitchen and all associated areas in relation to the back of house Participation maintaining the records of due diligence, cleaning, stock rotation, fridge temperatures and general record keeping for the kitchen
