*** Source Inspector - Nottingham Area ***

In response to a number of escapes, the customer wishes to implement an independent inspection, with the following being required:

* Visually inspect castings at the customer facility, focusing on specific set of part numbers as provided by the customer.

A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.
* Inspect each part based upon a defined set of characteristics
* Document all inspection activity via a Customer-provided Inspection Record.
* Document any non-conformities and raise them to an appropriate customer point of contact.
* Provide bi-weekly detailed report on inspection findings.

Required skills and experience:

* Minimum of 3-years previous experience within an aerospace / defence manufacturing environment, specifically within inspection-based roles
* Hands-on visual inspection experience, including the use of magnifiers and other inspection aids.
* Experience of castings is highly advantageous.
* Proficiency with mechanical inspection equipment (should dimensional verification be required)
* Knowledge of containment processes and procedures
* Strong communications skills, both written and verbal. xbpsjku
* Ability to prioritise workload to meet business needs.

The role is inside IR35.
