Solar PV Maintenance Engineers . The Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation working at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions. You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of Solar PV systems across a diverse portfolio, including high-end residential properties, education facilities, and commercial and industrial sites. You will work as part of a skilled and supportive team, delivering high standards of workmanship while maintaining excellent customer relationships. Key Responsibilities

Install, service, and maintain Solar PV systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sites

Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and reactive repairs on PV systems and battery storage solutions

Complete system upgrades and improvement works to a high standard

Undertake preventative and corrective maintenance on inverters, modules, and associated electrical components

Lead works on site while maintaining productivity, quality, and efficiency

Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and ensure strict adherence to health & safety procedures

Accurately complete all job-related documentation including service reports, timesheets, and work records

Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

Inspection & Testing qualification (C&G 2391 or 2394/2395 or equivalent)

Minimum 1 years experience installing and maintaining Solar PV systems

Solar PV and/or EESS qualifications

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Solid technical understanding of PV systems, inverters, panels, and mounting systems

ECS Gold Card

Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

SSSTS certification

IPAF and/or PASMA

Experience working across commercial or education sites

Package & Benefits

Competitive salary:

£35,000

£46,000 per annum , depending on experience

Overtime paid at enhanced rates (time and a half evenings/Saturdays, double time Sundays & Bank Holidays)

Holiday allowance starting at 20 days plus Bank Holidays, increasing annually up to 25 days
