About the role We are seeking a passionate Software Engineering Manager to provide technical expertise, oversee system development, and ensure operational excellence for M&S financial systems. You will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to build resilient, scalable, and efficient systems, driving projects from conception through deployment. Responsibilities Design and architect scalable, distributed systems, and lead legacy migration efforts. Establish quality standards, drive observability, maintain SLOs, and ensure prompt incident resolution. Collaborate with product, design, and management teams to deliver engineering solutions aligned with business goals. Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices. Manage team structure, hiring, onboarding, and mentorship to foster growth and technical excellence. Drive innovation through technology strategy, documentation, and knowledge sharing initiatives. Ideal candidate Leads with empathy, recognizing the importance of people in engineering success. Has hands-on experience as a polyglot software engineer and team leader. Extensive background in scalable web/backend solutions and system design. Proven experience managing high-performing engineering teams. Strong understanding of cloud, architecture, and software engineering methodologies.
