We are looking for a talented Smart Home Automation Technical Expert with 3–5 years of experience to join our growing team.
This role also involves leading the development and delivery of our technical training programme for in-house technicians and partners working with the Moorgen system.
Role Overview This is a hands-on, on-site role based in London.
You will take a lead in both technical system delivery and internal training.
You’ll be responsible for designing, installing, and integrating smart home systems, while also building and delivering training sessions to ensure our team and partners are fully equipped to work with Moorgen’s advanced technology.
Key Responsibilities Technical System Delivery Design and engineer smart home automation systems tailored to client needs Install, configure, and integrate systems for lighting, climate, AV, and security Work with platforms such as Moorgen, Control4, Crestron, and Lutron (training provided) Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure reliable system performance Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to deliver seamless experiences Stay informed about trends and new developments in home automation Training & Development Develop a comprehensive training programme for internal engineers and external partners Create and maintain training materials including manuals, presentations, and videos Deliver hands-on and classroom-based training sessions at varying skill levels Evaluate training outcomes and adapt the curriculum to meet evolving needs Coordinate with technical teams to ensure training reflects current technologies Support certification for technicians and project partners Requirements 3–5 years’ experience in smart home automation, BMS, or related technologies Experience working with platforms like Moorgen, Control4, Lutron, Crestron, or Savant Familiarity with communication protocols: KNX, Zigbee, Z-Wave Strong understanding of system integration, networking, and electrical components Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Confident communication and presentation abilities Experience delivering technical training is a strong advantage Ability to simplify complex systems for trainees at different levels Bonus: Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or programming (Python, C++) What We Offer A pivotal role in a fast-growing luxury smart home brand Opportunity to build and lead a training programme from scratch On-site role with exposure to high-end residential and commercial projects Professional development and career growth Competitive salary based on experience and commitment
