An established and highly respected Mechanical & Electrical Engineering company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Manager to lead a team of site engineers. The business delivers high-quality maintenance and repair services across a variety of industrial environments. This role offers a balance between office-based responsibilities and hands-on site involvement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both leadership and practical engineering. Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and support a team of site-based Mechanical Engineers Conduct site visits to assess client requirements and diagnose issues Prepare and issue quotations for repair and maintenance work Maintain strong client relationships and provide progress updates Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and team development Conduct annual appraisals and drive technical upskilling of staff Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and safe systems of work What Theyre Looking For
Strong knowledge of industrial pumps, motors, and mechanical systems Ideally electrically biased with solid mechanical expertise Previous experience in a leadership or management role Proven ability to manage engineers across multiple sites Strong problem-solving and organisational skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Good IT skills including Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) Strong understanding of health & safety standards Whats on Offer
